Concrete floors are a great shed base option. Allow the concrete to dry for forty-eight hours before using the shed! The finished slab size is the same size as the shed, but upon request additional concreting around the shed can be done.

Concrete is poured into the erected shed, with a barrier in place to prevent the concrete from coming into contact with the walls. As the concrete is poured onto the existing ground level, and the walls of the shed are not raised, up to 65mm of headroom inside the shed may be lost. This type of slab is not recommended as it is more prone to cracking from natural movement in the ground. The loss of headroom is also a disadvantage.
